What are competitive exams?
Competitive exams are a particular kind of test used to evaluate students and assign them a grade, percentage, or percentile. The majority of these tests are administered at the national or state level. In India, competitive tests are held for a variety of professions, including engineering, medicine, and law. The majority of these exams are administered annually, and millions of people take them. Such tests are designed to identify deserving and worthy individuals by requiring them to take the test in a fair and objective environment.
A competitive exam aids in the selection of candidates for various job strata. Selected test takers receive training for careers in their fields after being chosen. They take place at different levels. These exams are taken after the 12th grade. Additionally, these tests are given at the undergraduate and graduate levels. After finishing their 12th grade exams, students sit for competitive tests like JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, NEET, and CLAT in order to be considered for admission to university programmes. Students may sit for tests such as the Civil Services Exam, NDA Exam, NEET-PG, and others when they graduate.
